Short version:We keep your name, contact details and booking info to actually deliver your trip. We don't sell your data. We don't email you junk. We use WhatsApp and email, that's it.

1. Who we are

Langkawi MICE Holidays and Tours Sdn Bhd (trading as Lazy Traveler), licensed under MOTAC KPK/LN 12322 (Co. No. 201601031352). Office at 1H Persiaran Bukit Indah, Taman Bukit Indah, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia.

2. What we collect

Contact info name, WhatsApp number, email, country
Booking details dates, group size, hotel, dietary needs, flight number (for airport pickups)
Payment info handled by our payment processors (Billplz · FPX, Stripe). We never store your card.
Communications WhatsApp messages, emails, things you tell us
Site usage pages viewed, cart contents (stored locally on your device)

3. Why we collect it

To run your bookings and message you about them
To match you with the right captain, room, or driver
To send confirmations and reminders
To improve the service (anonymised analytics only)
To comply with Malaysian tourism law

4. Who we share it with

Only with the partners delivering your trip, captain, hotel, driver, and only what they need (your name, group size, pickup time). Never sold, never rented, never shared for marketing.

5. How long we keep it

Booking records: 7 years (Malaysian tax law). WhatsApp threads: 2 years. Marketing list (if you opted in): until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to: see what data we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email privacy@lazytraveler.my we respond within 7 days.

7. Cookies + analytics

We use local storage for your cart, language preference, and dark mode setting. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, it sets analytics cookies and shares anonymised usage data with Google. We don't run third-party advertising cookies or ad profiling.

8. Updates

We'll post any changes here and tell you on WhatsApp if it materially affects you.
